Air Arabia Abu Dhabi has announced the launch of a new non-stop service to Almaty, Kazakhstan, expanding its growing network from Zayed International Airport. Beginning 3 June 2025, the airline will operate three weekly flights on the route, marking another step in strengthening connectivity between the UAE and Central Asia. The announcement was made by Adel Al Ali, Group Chief Executive Officer of Air Arabia, who emphasized the significance of the new route in enhancing the airline’s international reach.

He noted that the addition of Almaty reflects the carrier’s ongoing commitment to offering cost-effective and dependable travel solutions while supporting broader efforts to improve global access from the UAE’s capital. “This new service underscores our goal of linking Abu Dhabi with key global destinations,” Al Ali said. “As demand for affordable air travel continues to grow, we are focused on delivering greater convenience and choice to our passengers while supporting the UAE’s role as a strategic aviation hub.”

With the inclusion of Almaty, Air Arabia Abu Dhabi now offers direct flights to 30 destinations from Zayed International Airport. The network covers a wide range of regional and international cities, positioning the airline as a competitive option for both business and leisure travelers. The addition of the Almaty route comes amid rising interest in travel between the Middle East and Central Asia. Almaty, Kazakhstan’s largest city, is known for its picturesque mountain scenery, vibrant commerce, and deep cultural traditions, making it a growing destination for tourism and trade.

The service launch aligns with broader regional aviation trends, as Gulf carriers continue to explore underserved markets across Asia. By linking Abu Dhabi with Almaty, Air Arabia Abu Dhabi aims to tap into new demand while reinforcing bilateral ties between the UAE and Kazakhstan. Operations will commence in early June, and tickets are now available through the airline’s official channels. The new route is expected to appeal to a wide range of travelers seeking direct and affordable access between the two cities. – By MENA Newswire News Desk.
